Anyone who is a golf fanatic will tell you that once you’ve been bitten by the bug, you can never get rid of it. You start to plan your day around when you’ll be able to get to the golf course or range.
One fan posted up at the beach next to Royal Liverpool GC, in Hoylake. This allowed him to get some work done while the Open Championship raged across the street.
The broadcast cameras at The Open couldn’t get over this hero. You have to give him credit for that. He could not have chosen a better way to get his game noticed by the sport’s power brokers.
