Wraparound is over, but there won’t be a lack of PGA Tour tournaments this fall.
The seven-event schedule begins next month with the Fortinet Championship in Napa, California. It concludes in Orlando in December, during the silly season, at the PNC Championship. Between are the Ryder Cup, and a new event in Mexico.
The Tour pros get two weeks of rest before the season starts again. There’s a lot more at stake for players in the fall who want to ensure their eligibility for the 2024 season that begins in January.
The top 51 in the FedEx Cup standings from 2023 will carry their FedEx Cup points from the regular season and first playoff event into the Fall of FedEx Cup. They will continue to accumulate points for finalizing eligibility for 2024. The FedEx Cup Standings for 2023 include those ranked 51 and above. They will be able to carry over their FedEx Cup Points from the regular-season and the first playoff event to the FedEx Cup Autumn and continue to collect points in order to qualify for the 2024 Season.
FedEx Cup Fall is the final ranking for the 2024 season. This includes the top 125 categories for those outside of the top 70 FedEx Cup standings. The seven events will award standard FedEx Cup point, with 500 points going to the winner.
The FedEx Cup Fall will award exemptions to the first two signature events following the Sentry to 10 players who have the most FedEx Cup season-long points.
Winning during the fall season will grant you a Tour exemption for two years, 500 FedEx Cup Points, and entry into the season’s opening Sentry Championship, as well as the Players Championship. You can also qualify to majors in which Tour winners have been invited before.
