In the Bahamas, it’s Texas two-step.

World No. Scottie Scheffler, a Dallas native, and Jordan Spieth are tied at 36 holes in the 2023 Hero World Challenge. Scheffler shot a 6-under 66 in the final round of the week on Friday. Spieth posted a 5-under 67 with no bogeys. The duo is now at 9-under 135, two shots ahead of the rest of the field.

Brian Harman, who was one of the co-leaders after 18 holes, finished in 31 on Friday, and is now alone third with 8 under. Justin Thomas, who is 7 under par, will be playing with the Open champion on Saturday. Tiger Woods, the tournament’s host, shot a 2-under 70 on Friday and is now 1-over 145.
