The West Coast Swing, a series of seven tournaments that spans Hawaii, Arizona and California, began the new PGA Tour season on Thursday.
While a new golf season brings with it new opportunities, the baggage that comes along with it is not new. Money seems to be the main factor in the battle for players between the PGA Tour, and the LIV Tour. Fans are a small part of this equation. On the West Coast Swing, in particular one of the top players in the game who dominated the games first two months in 2023 will not be playing the same events in 2020.
