Anna Davis was the youngest player to win the Augusta National Women’s Amateur in April.
Her tournament was canceled at Champions Retreat’s opening hole. The California teenager lifted her ball twice out of the rough. was penalized with a four-stroke penalty and she missed the cut. Davis described it as “a learning experience.”
