Ernest Jones, Los Angeles Rams’ linebacker, said that he has become obsessed with the game of golf. He spent a lot time on the course this summer while the Rams were not in action. Ernest Jones is not about to give up his day job as a middle-of-the defense patroller any time soon. But his golf game has improved.
He wants to test himself against one of the most talented pro athletes: Warriors guard Steph curry.
Curry won the American Century Championship in dramatic style this summer and has participated in Korn Ferry Tour tournaments in the past. But Jones is confident that he will be able to take on the smooth-swinging Steph.
Jones said that he is not as good as Andrew Whitworth, but if he gives him a full year he will be able to beat Steph.
“Not yet. Whitworth has a stick around him. Give me a little more time. It’s going to be a big problem. Jones, while being mic’d on NFL Network, said: “Steph Curry is going to have to look into me.” “I want to let him know that I’m going to get it right away. It’s over for him. I’m calling him out. I want all the smoke. I want it all. “I want it all.”
Jones is genuinely excited by the prospect of a possible match being set up against Curry. It would be a lot of fun to watch. Curry is a better player than Jones, so he probably has a long way to go.
Just thinking about this match makes Jones’ competitive juices flow.
