ORLANDO – When Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods arrived at the Ritz-Carlton golf club, cameras were waiting in the parking area and fans lined the fence to see one of only a few sightings of this 15-time major champion and his son who helped his high-school win the FHSAA class A State Championship.
Tiger is having a groundhog’s day. All eyes will be on Tiger’s every shot, grimace or smile and limp. Charlie, 14 years old, is making his fourth consecutive appearance at this event, with his dad. He has experienced enough major events to be able to anticipate what to expect. Charlie, 14, has displayed great composure in front of crowds who are more interested to see what kind of game young Charlie can play compared with the Hall of Famer players on the field.
Tiger welcomed the new Tour, where everyone had a cameraphone.
