Tiger Woods and baseball player Mike Trout jointly announced in March that they would be collaborating to build a private golf course in New Jersey, about 45 minutes south from Philadelphia.
Now that the routing is complete, the puzzle piece has been completed. In a Friday media release, the group released a route map to coincide with a video on social media featuring Woods and Trout. The par 72 course, measuring 7,455 yards is scheduled to open in 2025.
The club, designed by Woods’ TGR Design, will feature a course, practice area, short-game zone, clubhouse and restaurant, as well as “five-star” accommodations, a chapel for weddings, etc.

Trout spoke recently on Bleacher Report ‘s ‘On Base with Mookie Betts, about his inspiration to build a golf course and how much he loves working with Woods.
This is the complete release about how the routing was created:

(VINELAND N.J.).– Trout National-The Reserve is a world-class club collaboration between Mike Trout – the three-time American League All-Star and 10-time Major League Baseball All-Star – and local businessman John Ruga. Tiger Woods, golf icon, has designed the course.
The par-72, 18-hole golf course is set to be completed in 2025. It is a unique course that is shaped by two different natural landscapes. The former silica mine and the sprawling farmland offer ample playable sand waste areas, as well as expansive fairways that provide multiple routes from tee-to-green. The large, undulating greens and low-cut surrounding areas emphasize the fun, but challenging design.
Trout said, “We wanted to create a course that would challenge my golf game and still allow me to have fun. That’s exactly what we did at Trout National-The Reserve.” The course was designed by Tiger, John and me. “Our vision and his design are creating something special in my hometown.”
Tiger says that Mike and John chose a location with lots of character for some great golf holes. The sandy terrain is diverse and has many natural features. This gave us plenty of options to design a world class golf course.
Ruga said that the land in Vineland, where Trout National Reserve is located, has a rich history. Tiger and his team have been able to integrate the history of the land and make it shine in this championship course. This will be a truly memorable experience.
The 18-hole championship course will be complemented by a short course and a putting green, as well as world-class performance and practice facilities. The club also features a state-of-the art clubhouse with innovative amenities and a chapel.
