Tiger Woods is always in the news when he plays golf, but this week he was playing with his son Charlie who is 14 years old at the PNC Championship.
He has a new caddie, one that he is very familiar with, at the Ritz-Carlton golf club. Sam, his 16-year old daughter.
Sam was in the spotlight with her dad at Woods’ induction into World Golf Hall of Fame. This is her first time on the bag. It was a family affair in central Florida on a rainy, Saturday.
Tiger: “Sam was amazing.” Tiger said, “Sam was fantastic.”
It was a special moment for me to see my two kids in the ropes, playing golf and having a good time. We do it a lot back home. It was even more special when it happened in a tournament.

Tiger is still looking for a caddie. Former bagman Joe LaCava now loops for Patrick Cantlay. Rob McNamara, Woods’ long-time friend and business associate, caddied at the Hero World Challenge held in the Bahamas two weeks ago.

Charlie’s son Joe Jr. has been the bag-man for the last three years. Luke Wise, a teammate from high school, is on the bag this year. Last month, the duo took home a state team title for Benjamin.
Team Woods was seven shots behind Team Kuchar after the first round.
How is Tiger doing as a caddie in Charlie’s junior events? He made fun of his father.
Charlie explained, “For Dad, as a caddie his reads have a hook bias, and I do not hook as much as Dad does.” “All of my putts are right.” “I have to take that into account.”
