Tiger Woods is silent after the news last month broke that the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, and Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund had agreed on creating a global golf entity . also agreed to drop all pending litigation.
Woods is yet to comment on the framework agreement that was leaked last Wednesday. However, he took to Twitter over the weekend to respond to documents from the 15th Judicial Circuit Court of Palm Beach County in Florida. These documents claimed Woods would be making scripted remarks in a players’ meeting against LIV golf before the Travelers Championship in 2022.
The documents included talking points that PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan could use to “explain to you how the LIV Golf Series threatens your livelihood, business and golf as a game”
The talking points memo that was released on the weekend is something I’ve never seen before. I also did not attend the player meeting at which the memo was created, the 2022 Travelers.

Woods claims that he didn’t see the document until the following Sunday, and that he was not present at the 2022 meeting. The other documents shared by @desertdufferLLG reveal how the Tour originally planned to compete against the PIF and LIV Golf.
The two organizations are planning to collaborate a year after the groundbreaking news. The U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Senate have both reported that they are reviewing the proposed deal. Even the leaders of PIF, LIV Golf and Tour were invited to attend a Senate hearing on July 11, 2023.
Woods has yet to make a comment about the proposed deal. He is an 82-time Tour winner.
