Tiger Woods, the first TGL player and coowner who was announced Tuesday as the sixth and final TGL Team, gave an update regarding his injured leg and foot that caused him to withdraw after two rounds from the 2023 Masters.
“My ankle is fine.” Woods said to The Associated Press, “I have no issues whatsoever where they fused my foot. This pain has completely disappeared. “It’s not the pain that has been compensated, but other areas.”
The surrounding areas were where I had my problems, and they still are. If you fix one area, the others will have to become hypermobile in order to get around, which can cause some issues.
Woods caddied for his son Charlie at the Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship. Over the weekend, a video of Woods walking without a limp or much of one went viral on social media.
Woods admitted, “I am pretty sore from caddying four days.” It was a flat, thank goodness.
No official announcement has been made about Woods’ return to the golf course. Rumors are swirling, but no date has been set.
