Tiger Woods to return at 2023 Hero World Challenge

The TV time for Tiger’s comeback was announced. They decided that it wasn’t good enough.

The first and second rounds of the Bahamas Open will be broadcast an hour earlier on Wednesday than originally planned by NBC and Golf Channel.

Woods will host and have a tee-time in the 20 man field for the 2023 Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, his annual silly season bash. Woods announced his commitment to the event last week . This sparked excitement throughout the golfing world. Woods joins the ranks of Scottie Schaffler, Jordan Spieth Justin Thomas Rickie Follwer Max Homa Viktor Hovland and others.

It is the eighth time that the Bahamas will host this event. The purse is $3.5 million, with $1 million for the winner.

Tiger’s latest injury comebacks

Golf Channel will broadcast parts of the four rounds. NBC will cover some weekends. Peacock will be streaming the coverage live. This event is not covered by PGA Tour Live.

This week, Paul Azinger will be replaced by Paul McGinley in the booth.
