Titleist Vokey Design SM10 wedges hit PGA Tour

Jan, 2024

Titleist announced via social media, less than six hours after 2024 started on the East Coast in Times Square, that they will be bringing the Vokey Design SM10 Wedges to the PGA Tour in Hawaii this week at The Sentry.

Titleist releases equipment every two years, so it is not surprising that the Vokey Design SM9, the most popular wedges used on the PGA Tour in 2022, will be replaced by the next generation.

Titleist has only released a photo tagged “Kapalua Golf” so far. It shows a SM10 52 degree F Grind, a SM10 56 degree S Grind and a SM10 60 degree T Grind.

On the basis of the photo it is not clear what differentiates the SM10 wedges from the SM9. In the past, all three sole grinds were available. If the past is any guide, then the SM10 wedges will be available at the PGA Merchandise Show, which starts on January 23, in Orlando, Fla.
