The first 18 holes of 2023 Zurich Classic of New Orleans, at TPC Louisiana, are now in the books.
Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick got off to an excellent start with their 10-under-62. Team Mitchell/Im, Lipsky/Rai and Norlander/List matched their opening score.
Surprisingly defending champions Xander Schneffele and Patrick Cantaly struggled a little bit in the easier format, opening with a 5 under 67.
Beau Hossler shot an 11-under-par 61 in the first round and led after 18 holes.
