The third round of the U.S. Open is underway at Los Angeles Country Club and the leaders are on the golf course.
Tom Kim is making the early noise. He shot a 6-under-29 in the first nine holes and birdied his par-4 10th hole to reach 7 under for the day. Tom Kim may still need some more shots, but as the course dries up it will only get harder. He should be in contention on Sunday if he continues to play well.
