Two 61s from Michigan State, record performances after tragedy, and other highlights from the past week in college golf

At the Burns Intercollegiate, Hawaii, scores were very low.

There was a team record score, and two golfers shot 61s during this event, including 2022 U.S. Amateur champion Sam Bennett, a fifth-year senior at Texas A&M.
