USGA announced that Chambers Bay will be hosting 2027 U.S. Junior Amateur, 2033 U.S. Amateur

Chambers Bay has proven its ability to test professional and amateur players around the globe, so much that the U.S. The Golf Association announced that it will be returning to the Puget Sound municipal course near Seattle twice in the next ten years.

The 2027 U.S.GA Golf Championships will be held by the USGA The 2027 U.S. Junior Amateur and the 2033 U.S. Junior Amateur will be held by the USGA. The fifth and sixth USGA Amateur Championships will be held in University Place, Washington. They were designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Bruce Charlton. Later, a stroke-play companion course will be named for both championships.

Chambers Bay hosted the 2010 U.S. Open. Amateur (Peter Uihlein), and 2015 U.S. Open(Jordan Spieth), along with last summer’s 2022 U.S. Ladies’ Amateur (Sakibaba) and 2022 U.S. Open (2022 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball (Kiko Francisco Coelho/Leopoldo Herrera III).
