There are only three LPGA events left before the CME Group Tour Championship. Some big-name players are still on the outside. The top 60 players in the Race to CME Globe point list will qualify for season finale in Naples Florida from Nov. 16-19. Anyone in the field is eligible to win $2 million as the top prize for women’s golf.
The Maybank Championship, which takes place this week in Malaysia, has 78 players. There is no cut. A win is worth 500 points and a 10th place finish earns 75. The Toto Japan classic in early November will also be a no-cut event. This means that, like the Maybank, all LPGA players in the field can earn CME points if they complete the four rounds.
The Annika driven at Pelican by Gainbridge is the last event before the CME point list is finalized in November.
