PEBBLE BEACH (Calif.) – The 78th U.S. Women’s Open will make history on many fronts at Pebble Beach Golf Links this week. Of course, the venue is the biggest first. Six U.S. Pebble has hosted six U.S.
The television coverage of a historic event should be no different. Golf Channel is producing a record-breaking 25 hours of studio coverage “Live from the U.S. Women’s Open”. The set will be located just off the 18th Fairway.
NBC will broadcast 12 hours of coverage over the weekend, July 8-9. This is the first time that the Women’s Championship has been shown on prime-time network coverage.
The broadcast team consists of:
