LOS ANGELES — It’s a question quite a few golf fans were asking.
What’s the deal with Rickie carrying that water bottle around?
The 2023 U.S. Fowler was seen carrying a large water bottle covered with stickers during the 2023 U.S.
Fowler prefers to use a metal water bottle. Most golfers will grab a plastic bottle from the nearest store.
He said, “I began carrying it in January of this year,” when asked about his third round on Saturday. He explained that it is a great reminder. “I tend to drink more when I carry it. It’s heavy too, especially when full. So I wouldn’t want Rick, my caddie to have to carry it around.”
He added, “I drink more water and other electrolytes when it’s in my bag.”

Fowler has also added several stickers to his bumper sticker collection.
He said, “I have several different stickers there. Friends of friends or connections one way or another.” What is his favorite? As for his favorite?
