In our forums, our members have been having a discussing over hybrids. WRXer ‘LowDime’ kicks off the thread saying:
“I am looking for suggestions for an anti-left 4-5 hybrid to replace 4-iron that I can carry 215-225. I have yet to find a hybrid I can hit that does not go left. 13ish handicap. I have a Sim 7-wood that either goes 220 or 250 so need something more consistent.”

And our members have been sharing their thoughts in our forum.
- Sean124: “I like the TSR3 because you can move weight towards the toe. Also consider a shorter/heavier shaft that gets it playing closer to a long iron than a fairway wood.”
- Yuck: “I have had issues with left on hybrids and tended to carry a 2 or three iron instead. That said, the Callaway Alpha 815 18 degree. (2 iron replacement), with a Tensi White has been great in avoiding the lefts. A miss with it is actually a low fade for me, which is worlds better than a hook that keeps going left. The best part, is you can probably find one dirt cheap, since they are circa 2015.”
- aussieb: “The two hybrids that come to mind when looking to avoid a hook for the better player are the TSR3 and ST-Z 230 for the adjustability and internal weighting. Nothing will stop a bad swing from snap hooking, but these both tested well for me. Still put the Mizuno in the bag when I need a higher flighted ball for rock hard greens.”
