PHOENIX — The Super Bowl and WM Phoenix Open are coming to a close.
You have many options when it comes to finding a hotel room in Phoenix.
Although some hotels chains are offering more rooms than they did just a few months ago, the demand is driving up prices. According to Axios’ report, a Motel 6 in Glendale near State Farm Stadium, the venue for Super Bowl 57, costs $854 per night.
You might be tempted to wait until your team is victorious before booking a hotel. However, this delay could reduce your options and cost you more in terms of lodging. Below are the most recent details on availability and prices for Super Bowl hotels in Phoenix, less than three weeks prior to the event.
For those who are planning to stay in Glendale or Scottsdale during the weekend of February 10-13, they can expect to spend between $300-$600 per night. The prices are higher closer to Glendale Stadium.

A search for hotel and travel websites revealed that the Super 8 by Wyndham Phoenix Metro North was the lowest priced. It is located approximately 11 miles from State Farm Stadium, and 21 miles from TPC Scottsdale. Rooms start at $225 per night. The Hampton Inn Phoenix/Anthem was the lowest-priced hotel that received a TripAdvisor Traveler Rating of at least 4 stars. Rooms starting at $399 per Night
Although inventories are still tight, particularly near State Farm Stadium in New York, there is a trend hotel experts have predicted: As teams lose their playoffs, cancellations are causing room openings.

The following prices and availability were found on recent searches of the reservation sites for hotel chains that have a significant presence in Phoenix metro:
- Hilton offered rooms at 26 hotels and 2 Hilton Vacation Clubs. The lowest rate was $399 per person at the Hampton Inn Phoenix/Anthem.
- There were 19 Marriott International rooms available in these hotels. Four Points by Sheraton Phoenix South Mountain offered the lowest rate at $479 per night. The Residence Inn Phoenix NW/Surprise was the closest hotel to the stadium, with a starting price of $799 per night. The Residence Inn at Marriott Phoenix Desert View at Mayo Clinic is located five miles from TPC Scottsdale and currently offers rooms starting at $599.
- Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has 18 hotels available in Phoenix. The Super 8 Phoenix Metro North was $225 per night. However, this is part of a Wyndham promotion that offers 25 percent savings on minimum three-night stays if booked before February 3.
- Choice Hotels has 25 hotels that have rooms available. The Comfort Inn West Phoenix, located at 27th Avenue and Interstate 10, had the lowest nightly rate at $398.
- IHG Hotels and Resorts offered rooms at 12 of its Phoenix metro hotels. Holiday Inn Phoenix Chandler Chandler had the lowest rate at $379 per night.
When making hotel reservations, remember to account for traffic.

If you are willing to drive a lot, it is possible to stay outside of Phoenix (in Prescott or Tucson). For February 10-13, the top 10 Prescott hotels advertised rates between $99-$186 per night on TripAdvisor. The range for the top Tucson hotels was $196 to $573. It can take many hours to reach the city if you consider traffic.
Vrbo and Airbnb are both still available for short-term rentals. A few private rooms are still available on Airbnb for Super Bowl weekend, Glendale included. There are also guest houses that start at $300-$400.
