What will happen to the World Golf Village in the future? The decision will be made at the upcoming meetings

St. Johns County, Florida has scheduled two meetings for September to gather more feedback on the possible uses of the World Golf Village that will be vacated by the World Golf Foundation after the 1st of Sept.

The meetings are scheduled for September 27 from 5:30-7:30 pm and on Sept. 28 between 9-11 am at the St. Johns County Administration Building Auditorium located at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine.

The World Golf Foundation announced in 2011 that the Hall of Fame would be relocated to the new headquarters of the United States Golf Association at Pinehurst, N.C. The locker room of the museum will be relocated to Pinehurst, and other assets have been returned to Hall of Fame Members or their families.

St. Johns County Commissioner staff is taking online ideas, but they want to hear from you verbally at meetings. This input will be combined with the research that is being done to create a report for the county commissioners.
