The stakes are high as there are only three events remaining on the LPGA schedule. For a chance at huge-money, some players are trying to make it to the CME Group Tour Championship. Others are trying to hold on to their cards.

The LPGA changed from using the money list in 2021 to using CME points to determine player status. Because some purses are extremely high, the idea was to equalize the results.

The Pelican Women’s Championship will be the cutoff for qualifying for the CME Group Tour Championship. This is also the time when players can make their last push to secure an LPGA card in 2023, without needing to travel to Q-Series.
