Women’s NCAA Championship – Stanford recovers after an early setback, Wake Forest leads and more.

May, 2023

SCOTTSDALE (Ariz.) — The morning clouds were replaced by plenty of sunshine in the afternoon during the first round 2023 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship. However, Grayhawk Golf Club was still a tough test for women’s college players.

The scoring average for the 30 teams was almost three shots above par. The morning conditions were better for scoring, but the sun, wind, and some rain made it harder in the afternoon.
