Induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame means being enshrined as one of the best. Only 176 men or women have been inducted into the Hall.

The crystals were installed in the floor to commemorate the opening of World Golf Village, but the space they took up for special events was too large. The crystals were then removed and replaced with bronze plaques. Some are better than other. According to The Florida Times Union the plaques won’t be moved to Pinehurst, N.C. where the Hall takes up residence again in 2024.
