The PGA Tour returns to the mainland for The American Express in La Quinta next week.
Scottie Scheffler, the 2023 Player of the Year and World No. Scottie Scheffler, 2023’s Player of the year and World No. Justin Thomas, Tom Kim and Jason Day will join him, as well as Sam Burns, Min Woo Lee and Rickie Folwler.
Daniel Berger will also be in the field. He will play his first Tour event since the U.S. Open in Brookline, Massachusetts in 2022, where he failed to make the cut.
The defending champion Jon Rahm will not be in the field as he has moved to LIV Golf.

The American Express has signed 22 of the 50 top players on the Official World Golf Ranking (January 18-21), four of which are in the top 10.
