VENICE, Florida: A Naples-based company has recently acquired three Venice Golf Clubs, increasing its portfolio to eight courses. Coral Hospitality now manages 12 courses and country club.
Coral Investment Group and its long-term partner ITG Group have acquired three golf clubs that will be managed by Coral Hospitality. These are the Calusa Lakes Golf Clubs, Waterford Golf Clubs, and Capri Isles Golf Clubs.
The price of the purchase was not disclosed.
The courses are marketed together as Golf in Venice and include 63 championship holes.
In a market dominated largely by private clubs, the clubs offer a wide range of options to their members and the general public.
Coral is known for its expertise in hotel and resort management. Other golf properties owned by Coral include Arrowhead Golf Club and Eagle Ridge Golf Club.
In a prepared press release, Lee Weeks said, “We are thrilled to add the Golf In Venice Properties to our growing Portfolio and look forward welcoming new members and guest to the Coral Family.”
We have managed more than 40 clubs in a 25-year span, and we also own and develop hotels, resorts, and community associations.
Coral Hospitality offers golfers the chance to play all three courses for a single annual membership.
Calusa Lakes Golf Club has 18 holes spread over a wooded terrain with Paspalum Grass and wooded fairways.
Capri Isles Golf Club has a par-72 layout, with water features strategically placed, fairway bunkers and greenside bunkers. There are also four tees.
Waterford Golf Club, a semi-private golf course located within two high-end residential developments. The 27 holes of the Turnberry, Gleneagles, and Sawgrass golf courses are all unique and have a variety of natural landscapes and wildlife.
