Rain Girls founder Kathy Nyman stated that “The Deercreek Rain Girl Invitational” will be a fun event that focuses camaraderie with a little bit of competition.

Amateur and professional women golfers in the region will be included in the field, provided they have a USGA handicap less than 26.

Jan Stephenson, a Hall of Fame member and three-time major champion who has won 16 LPGA events, will be appearing at the pairings party on February 1. Her Jan Stephenson Wine will be available for tasting during the party.

The $125 fee covers the reception, lunch on day one of the tournament, tee gifts, and awards ceremony. It will be a Stableford format with an optional Nassau team. The contest will include a hole in one and closest to the pin competitions on all Par 3’s sponsored by Aurora Resort at Anguilla and Jan Stephenson Wine, Rain Girl, and Deercreek Country Club.

Titleist will host a demo day for golf balls and samplers for all participants on February 2, from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., before the 12:30 shotgun start.
