How to lower your wedges and create backspin

Your short game accuracy and score can be affected if you hit your wedges too high.

This week, Golfweek‘s fitness expert and long driver Averee dovsek along with Kent St. Charles of Lab 18 demonstrate the technique for hitting lower-flighted wedge shots and creating backspin.

This can be helped by adding more shaft lean when you impact the ball. It will also lower the loft on the clubface.

TrackMan and other simulators can provide you with data that will help you measure your progress. The two most important data points are the dynamic loft and launch angle.
